The associated JIRA is NIFI-6150 [1] and it leads to the content repo not properly cleaning up and eventually filling up disks.
There will be a 1.9.2 release to address this. Of course you are free to take the patch for the fix [2], apply it to the 1.9.1 release tag [3], and build your own fix, although I'm not sure why that would be preferred over getting the officially released fix in 1.9.2.
