The word "vote" shouldn't be used here, because there is no explicit process that requires votes. I can imagine an OSS project needing to develop a formal process for making decisions (OpenAFS has such a process, I think), but OL is probably too young and too small to do that.
Prodding the developers is not inherently a bad thing to do, but should be done with care, sparingly, and with good humor. Peter -- Peter N.
