Crossing my fingers and hoping all the other 41+ I have created over the
past 2 years will open now and continue to do so...otherwise,'I suppose the
only solution will be to ditch OOo and return to MS WORD - if it's do able.

.org is a not an OOo extension. If they have changed to that, then
something else is happening on you computer. :(
