There shouldn't be any problem if you do a network install from one of the Windows boxes to a shared filesystem in the Linux box. You just won't be able to run it natively in Linux.
OK, I did that and installed on the server. Then I ran the set up program in the install directory on the server from the XP workstations and it installed without a hitch.
However from the Win98 workstations, double clicking the same setup.exe file didn't do anything. Not even an error message. Same thing using the Start Run command. There must be something I am missing but can't figure out what it would be.
