This does not solve, you need to uncheck Apply border in Tools -
Autocorrect - options tab

I tried to Google an answer, but came up empty :)
Odd. It works on my computer as I described and I confirmed that prior to
making the post.

I already had the "Apply Border" selection unchecked and had the same behavior
as Peter until doing as I wrote. Perhaps you already had these unchecked?

Also, I found that the only one affecting the Editing Display is:
[M] Replace while modifying existing text.

When I enter a line of underscores and press enter, it turns into a

solid black line. This happens in 1.1.4 & 1.9.74.

I tried turning off automatic recognition of _ _ for underline a few

other auto correct options?

Can this be turned off and am I looking in the right place?

Thanks,

Thanks.

Anyone know how to stop it from happening at all?
