Yes, a number of the formatting styles were lost.  When I saved a warning came 
up 
and said that something would not be saved, I disregarded and saved. (Forget 
exactly what the message was.)

I had an under border  on the header, lost; an over border on the footer lost.
Also the new para style I created was no longer available after saving.  
However, 
the second document was still in the format I set it at but could not find what 
it was.  
Also, again the para styles was not in the STYLES para menu.

Later, I shall try to save as a OOo document or file and see what happens.
I need to be able to set this up as I am trying to OCR etc some old play time 
documents.
