Only MSOpro comes with Access so is that what you are using? In that case, you should know that OOo does not have an embedded RDBMS but does have dBase built-in. Both are flat file DBs. However that is not what is important. What is important is that OOo will interface with most RDBMS including MySQL, PostgresQL, Oracle, Access et cetera with the use of JDBC or ODBC or other similar tools.
