Hi,
I am using OOo 2.0 beta on Suse 9.2. I cannot find a way to open a file that is on windows disk on the network. I can easily access the same files using konqueror and smb://computer/share/filename syntax. Any help would be appreciated.

Mount the smb share. OOo doesn't use KDE's virtual filesystem thingy, so you will have to mount it the old-fashioned way. Put an entry for it in your /etc/fstab. OOo 2.0 beta works fine for SMB shares mounted this way.
