I am using OOo 2.0 Beta on XP Pro SP2. I open Writer. Insert/Envelope.
Click "New Doc." This gives me the document that looks like an
envelope. I then format the envelope to include graphic and address and
print. It prints in the same direction as it appears on the screen and
not correct on the envelope.

My envelope is long ways in the printer and the program prints like the
envelope is the short way. (I cannot figure out how to explain it any
better - sorry.) So I go back to the Insert/Envelop and see the
additional tabs. The printer tab appears to be about orientation of the
envelope according to the printer. When I select the second to last
option in the envelope orientation section it has a line across the page
that appears to show the envelope section below. I then format the
envelope to include graphic and address and print again. It prints in
the correct orientation but not in the correct section of the envelope.
Everything is shifted down.

The envelope does not appear to be the correct size in preview but
outside of preview in the normal view it appears correct below the gray
line. I could probably manipulate this to work for me but was wondering
if this was normal or if there was a better way to get an envelope to
look correct on the screen and print in the correct orientation with my
printer. Thanks.

On a different note - I am very excited to almost have all my documents
ported to OpenOffice and hope to participate in QA as I learn more.
