Thanks for your prompt response. Actually, I did have some crashes lately. To troubleshoot these I had to put my CPU at half speed (ouch!) It's probably a conflict between two SPD's on my (alas) different RAM chips.
I hope you find your problem.
I hope so too, since I spent �85,- euro on my 512MB RAM extension. OpenOffice 1.1.4 runs fine, but the 2.0 beta crashes all the time. Killing the OOo 2.0 processes allows me to run my system normally. It never caused a complete crash as probably caused by my conflicting RAM.
