Excel workbook has a password on it. Therefore, OOo cannot open the 
file. If you can edit the file in Excel first, remove the password and 
save again before trying to open it in OOo.


 I have an Excel workbook that will not open in OpenOffice.  It gives me an
error.  It's says "Read error" This file is password-protected
