An xls file that has any kind of password protection still uses some
kind of encryption, though in this case Excel decrypts it such that
anyone can see the data. Because of this, the code needed to handle a
password protected file of this sort would still be proprietary to
Microsoft. Hence, the file still needs to have its password removed
prior to OOo being able to handle it.
