However, I was not prepared to find that when I un-tarred the m100 download, that it was all in little pieces, in rpm format! And apparently without anything that looks like an installer script so one could choose where to put it by overriding the builtin rpm paths. I'm not too sure at this point, if I wanna let rpm overwrite my system willy-nilly or not. The 1.9.79 I have now is installed in /opt, which seems like a good place for beta software. The last time I tried to get rpm to override its builtin paths, it failed, fortunatly before it actually wrote anything.
