I've been trying out the version control in 1.9.95 (on winxp) but I
think the 'save new version on closing' is not working. I want to get
someone else to try it out prior to submitting a bug for it.
Basically under file > versions (using a file in the .odt format in
writer) I select the check box which asks if I want to save a new
version of the file each time I close it.
I make changes to the document, save them then exit. When I go back
into the document no new version has been created.
Can someone else on the list try this out?
Would also be keen to hear someone who has got a later dev build to
give it a go and see if it has been fixed in the two subsequent
releases (I've not found an existing bug being reported so far).

Hi Paul,
tried it on version 1.9.104. It's the same. You only can save Versions
manually.
Seems to be a bug.
