An oddity here, causing problems. I've made a slide show with maybe a dozen slides so far. I set a common background picture (from a png file) by R-clicking on a slide, picking 'slide | set background picture, and then saying yes on the 'for all slides?' dialogue box. So far, so good.
Saved and reopened the presentation. Now, the background is gone. Just plain white left. So.... pick a slide, and try the above. No 'for all slides?' dialogue; nothing happens. Do it again.... now the dialogue appears and all slides /except/ the current one are given the background. Select another slide (that has the correct background) and do it again. Now this slide reverts to a white b/g, no effect on the previous one, which remains white. Any ideas what's going on here please? And how to fix it?
