I've tried to use the MS Word dictionary in OO but it gives me an error that the file is invalid, yet it works fine in Word.
When I looked into the OO dictionary file format, it seems to have a LOT of strange formatting/control characters. The Word one is only a long list of words with nothing else. I also tried to open the Word Dictionary (medical.dic)in OO and stepped through it adding all the words to the dictionary. There is a limit to how many words you can add to the personal dic. I only make it to the "D"s before it tells me the dictionary is full. But normally, if your dictionary is readable by MS Word, it should be with OO too. Marc Chuck Peck a crit : >I have a large medical dictionary I user with MS Word.
