Thank you Michael.
I am using OOo3 on Mac OS X 10.5.5
I can choose the paper format (A4, Letter…) and set the margins by going to
Format -> Page -> Page
I must then resize all of the tables and frames, as well as reposition the
figures manually.
Although onerous, this can be done in odt and ott files.
However the documentation is provided as pdf files, which I cannot edit.
PS
As a Canadian, I have never seen an A4 document generated for Canadian
consumption.
In general, sad to say, Canadians use US Letter and Legal sizes.
Even if I could purchase A4 paper, I could not store it in my current file
folders and 3-ring binders.
I believe that I will have joined Julian of Norwich (deo volante) before
Canada adopts the A4 format.
