It's build 3.0.0.3.5 on Linux (openSUSE 11.0). The version is from the packman repository, not from openSUSE.
With a text file I created with Kate (which makes it a specific Linux CR only and no LF) and I open it with Writer CTRL-f to do replacement, no matter how many I enter as spaces (1 to N) in the Replace With area, it does 4 spaces. If I create a file inside of Writer, and manually enter tabs and then go to replace them, it cannot find the tabs to replace them.
