I have two spreadsheets in Calc with data in the cells. I can print the

This is OOo 2.4.1 on Hardy x_86_64. I have tried printing to a Laserjet
4M+ using both the PostScript and PCL drivers, and to a Laserjet 5SiMx,
again using the PostScript and PCL drivers. I also exported to PDF and
the PDF file was missing all the data.
Two suggestions.
1. Check that you have marked an appropriate print area. First, select
(highlight) all the cells you want
to print. Then FORMAT - PRINT RANGE - DEFINE
Thanks to Joe and Arnold, who saved my butt!
It was the print range that had not been defined. All is well.
On the other hand, why doesn't it automatically print all cells that
have data in them? Should this not be the default? Sorry for being a
dumbass - I can make Writer dance a jig, but I rarely use Calc.
It normally does print all the cells with data. Somehow the default
print area was reset, probably to
just a single (empty) cell. Headers and footers will print regardless
of the print area settings.
