[users] Unable to open OpenOffice.org on my Mac

I am using a Mac OS X 10.5.4. I just downloaded OpenOffice.org 3.0.0 Intel.,
copied it into my application folder, and rebooted my computer. However,
each time I try to open it, I get a this message:  "You can't open the
application 'OpenOffice.org' because it is not supported on this
architecture."
Can anyone help me resolve this?
