Just put a textbox over the specific page num.

Not a neat solution, but how do I do that? Help doesn't help for textbox... -emf

Apply a style without a page number to the page in question. Apply the style with the page number to the rest of your document. Use section breaks to accomplish this. On the latter section, apply an ofset to the page number to make it read correctly.

Thanks for bringing sections to my attention. I did not know about them. However, I can't make it work. Let me give you all the details:

Page 11 ends with a table. In the Table Format dialog / Text Flow, I have now unchecked Break; since, however, the cursor from the end of the last cell goes directly to the title on the beginning of page 12 when I press the right arrow, I suppose I have inserted a page break there.

At the beginning of the title of page 12 I click Insert / Section. Then in the Insert Section dialog I delete Section1 and write New as the title of the new section, and click Insert

While inside page 12 where I have inserted the New section, I open the Styles and Formatting dialog, and go the Page Styles, where I have created a No Page Number style, I double click on the No Page Number page style to apply it to the section.

But when I do this, the No Page Number page style is applied to the whole document, not only to the section inside which I was when I double clicked it.

What did I do wrong?
