Sigh. this is a follow-up, because suddenly all is not well again.

Currently I have two Calc files (call them X and Y). Each has a section
of data in cells from A1 to H90. Following this data there is a
"legend" explaining some of the data. The legend is contained in
columns A and B and runs through row 120. In both files the print range
is defined from A1 through H120.

When I first printed file X it printed everything through row 120.
Subsequent prints of file X print only the data through H90. For file
Y I was not able to get it to print more than H90 even the first time.
Note that the print ranges are defined through H120 in both files.
There is only one print range defined, although it also has a
definition to repeat the first row on subsequent pages (as headers).
Print Preview reliably shows it is going to print only though H90.

How can I get it to print the last 30 rows? Why is it ignoring the
print range as defined?
Forgot to add that this is OOo 2.4.1 on Hardy x86_64.
Also I get the same results when printing to HP Laserjet 4+, 4M+
(PostScript version), 5Si, and 5SiMX (PostScript version); that is,
four different drivers to two different printers. The PostScript
versions are genuine Adobe.
If you don't mind, send me the calc file and I will test on my MP750
Canon printer using OOo 2.4.1 Hardy 32bit.

Thanks for the offer, but I have already proved to myself that it is
not the printer driver that is at fault. As mentioned above I got the
same results from four different drivers to two different printers.
Subsequently I have also gotten the same results from a Canon and a
Xerox printer. It's something in the file, not the printer driver.

I should add that I also discovered that if I export to PDF the export
function does export all cells containing data - that is A1 through
H120. As a workaround I can then print the PDF file.
I suspect it is something in the print ranges that is messed up. I read
the Help files, but as far as I can tell I am doing it correctly. I
also tried deleting all print ranges, which I understand should then
make it print all cells that contain data. Still no go, it prints only
A1 - H90. There's something about those last 30 rows that makes them
not print, but I can't figure it out.

I suspect that it is printing, except that your paper and printer do not extend wide enough. Did you try inserting page breaks, say after G1 perhaps, and then see if the next page gets printed with H1 and subsequent? (focus on cell H1 then INSERT - MANUAL BREAK - COLUMN BREAK)

How does this effect your printer output?
