     You are right, but it does help if he knows what email address he 
should use. That is where the REPLY TO header comes in. Using what I 
wrote about it above, the email can be sent from any email address (as 
you suggested) to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
replacing the x's, y's, and z's with what is contain in this header. (It 
should be an empty email containing only the "To" address I just 
listed.
     The mailing list will send a confirmation email to 
[EMAIL PROTECTED]@zzz to which he must simply click on the reply button and 
send it.
