I am assuming you are referring to the "normal view" mode available in
MS Word.
The short answer is that OpenOffice.org does not have a direct
equivalent to that mode of display.
I know that it has been the subject on the web forums more then a few
times and most likely this has been discussed on this mailing list in
the past also. The best I can say is that some people, for some
documents, find the "web view" acceptable as a replacement - I doubt
that will be much comfort but it is the best I know to tell you.
As I say however if you search for "MS Word normal view" in the
archives, or on any of the web forums you will find much discussion. (ps
- maybe try just "normal view" for the search)
