It sounds like you paid for something you didn't have to. OpenOffice.org is a free download from www.openoffice.org and support is provided free here, to the best of our abilities. The "support" on this list comes from volunteers, who try to help other users. Some people, such as that site where you paid your money, take the freely available OpenOffice.org and then sell it. Some also pass off this mail list as paid support. Those people are taking your money and providing nothing in return, that you couldn't obtain for free from elsewhere. Even updates are available for free from www.openoffice.org. If you can't get a refund from whoever you paid, you may be able to reverse the charges via your credit card. BTW, there are some vendors who charge a small amount to mail a CD with OpenOffice.org on it. These people provide a useful service for those who cannot download the software. I do not include them with the unethical vendors who simply charge you for what should be a free download. -- Use OpenOffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
