Use Alt-Tab or the Task Manager to ensure that neither of the 2 programs are running.

I've tried re-booting, hoping that the 3.0 version will kick-in, but I'm still stuck with 2.4. I've tried to install 3.0 several times. Always with the same error message : ( Any suggestions?
