Exactly, that is why I said to read what I had quoted. For reference, here is the quote: > No. (Assuming you mean free qua libre, and not free qua gratis. Given > the license, even if they declared it non-gratis, _The Pirate Bay_, > amongst other sources, would be only too happy to make it available > for gratis.) Do you not see where the poster advocates the pirating of software? If you would like to make comparisons to RHEL and Cent OS, even RHEL is available in source form for free download. However the compiled binaries _cannot_ be distributed, because they include RedHat logos and other IP. CentOS was actually doing that in the beginning, and RedHat put a stop to it. There are many fine and legal software packages on The Pirate Bay, such as Open Office, Ubuntu, and Firefox. But distributing a compiled binary that the the uploader has no rights to is pirating software, even if the source is available under the GPL. Don't do it, don't advocate it, and don't joke about it. Not here. -- Dotan Cohen http://what-is-what.com http://gibberish.co.il א-ב-ג-ד-ה-ו-ז-ח-ט-י-ך-כ-ל-ם-מ-ן-נ-ס-ע-ף-פ-ץ-צ-ק-ר-ש-ת ا-ب-ت-ث-ج-ح-خ-د-ذ-ر-ز-س-ش-ص-ض-ط-ظ-ع-غ-ف-ق-ك-ل-م-ن-ه-و-ي А-Б-В-Г-Д-Е-Ё-Ж-З-И-Й-К-Л-М-Н-О-П-Р-С-Т-У-Ф-Х-Ц-Ч-Ш-Щ-Ъ-Ы-Ь-Э-Ю-Я а-б-в-г-д-е-ё-ж-з-и-й-к-л-м-н-о-п-р-с-т-у-ф-х-ц-ч-ш-щ-ъ-ы-ь-э-ю-я ä-ö-ü-ß-Ä-Ö-Ü --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
