You can just look at the those deb files again to find all the packages need to be uninstalled. If you already deleted those, just downloaded them again.

However, what will happen when I try to open a file created in 3.0.1 in 2.4.1? Can 2.4.1 open 3.0.1 files? Please say it can!

Yes. 2.4.1 will warn you that the files were created in later version, but otherwise it should open.
