Thanks for the response. I'm not talking about printing at all, I'm referring to making a copy of the slides available online for download by the students, without my speaker notes. If I have a presentation that includes notes for the slides, there appears to be no way to make a digital copy of those that doesn't include the notes, yet still have it be in SXI or PPT format. I can do it if I export to PDF (because that doesn't take the notes along with the slides), but I'd prefer to keep it in a format native to OO and PPT.

I know I can print copies for everyone without the notes, but I'm trying to save a few trees.

Thanks,
Fran

export as PDF it does not export the slides so that is one option, but I
would prefer to be able to provide the slides online in OpenOffice and
PowerPoint formats. However, it seems there's no way to Export the
slides, minus the notes, to either of those formats. Is it possible?
I'm currently using OO 1.1.3 but I am open to upgrading if necessary.

I am not certain I understand your problem. Are you saying that File >
Print > Options > Contents checkboxes do not work? If yes then this
should be investigated. Here's how to enter an issue into Issue
Tracker as this is the best way to have problems such as this evaluated.

If you haven't already registered, do the following:

     1. To file an issue you must register with OOo by clicking the
My Pages tab and selecting the Register link
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/Join
     2. Fill in your information
     3. Reply to the confirmation email that will be sent to the address
you provided. 4. Once you have confirmed, go to www.openoffice.org again 5. And click on the "Bugs & Issues" link in the General links box.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It is important that you file
any examples with the issue to ensure your need is understood.

On the other hand, if this is something you missed, perhaps you could
benefit from the Fine Manuals that we have. See
