It's hard to tell from your message, but I assume you were given a file
on a flash drive, such as a USB pen drive. Is this correct? If so,
you'd use it as you would any other file. A few details might help,
such as what operating system you're using, if you actually installed
OpenOffice, what happens when you try etc.
