Came this utterance formulated by Web Kracked to my mailbox:
I just ran - Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Beta
It stated that OpenOffice.org 3.1 was not compatible
with Windows 7. Of course the "publisher's website"
that the software link listed Nero's website for OOo web site.
Microsoft Windows installations have consistently stated that
OpneOffice.org is untrusted software and we know that it is ok to
continue. You have to pay Microsoft to become trusted software. This may
either be a modified verson of this Microsoft FUD.
Look, does the above indicate that I am someone who is trying
to make some case against OOo?
To be honest, I do not really know what you mean by "Microsoft FUD".
I am just asking if someone has tried Win7 and OOo to counter
what the upgrade advisor software is saying.
I just wanted to let people know that there was a problem
with that software and wanted to get the word out that some
people may think the worst.
Now it seems people are thinking that I am a MS supporter
and some other stuff.
I hate to use MS office and only us it what I am required to
use it. I use OOo 99% of the time now.
OR
Something that is happening because you are running a Beta. Betas are
for those that expect some gliches to occur _without_ running to mummy
when they do.

"These documents provide important information you should know prior to
deploying and using this Release Candidate of the Windows 7 operating
system, including known issues that you may need to avoid or work
around."
I am sure in either case that there will be minimal issues when the
final version of 7 is released. Get over it.
