Not possible on a document that we are collaborating on, and he is on
a university machine on which he cannot install fonts.
Well, sometimes things are just what they are...
Maybe you both need to collaborate on content only and decide which one
will be responsible for layout.
Then use PDF to generate 'layout' intermediate results for the other to
review..
