I believe it does. I did it *once* in the past, and I believe that we worked with a font that was only available in the linux computer that created the PDF.
I had done a small test right now, and it looks like it works too. But it was just create a one word document, change the font, export to hybrid pdf, send it by email to system B, open it, add some random characters in that font. Close, check that the font was not available in system B.
BTW you are referring to a feature that is only available after installing the PDF Import extension, yes?
Yes, you're right. I didn't realize it until you note it to me. Both computers had the PDF Import extension installed so I assumed that it will "just work" with OpenOffice. But I checked it and you're right, you need to install PDF Import on both computers.
