It will create empty records for gaps in the sheets cells:
Assume the sheet has 3 rows of data with a blank row between each,
starting at row 1.
Copy the entire sheet and paste into base.
There will be 5 records created, 2 will have all NULL fields.
I did test this before I made the claim. I've tested it again. It
looks as though I selected a larger area than the relevant data and
noticed that this creates empty fields and records - and extrapolated
from that to what would happen for an entire sheet.
Thanks for the correction: I'm glad to know I was wrong. OpenOffice
scores again!
