I agree Scribus is useful for that.  I use it.  Before seeing the
original question about publishing, I had not tried importing / reading
OOo output lately.

As mentioned, the PostScript file I tried had negligible graphics.
When an new release of Scribus comes out, I'll take a closer look at
interchange between it OOo Draw.
