Why are you saying that? Doesn't Ctrl+Shift+y work for you? Works for me. And it's easy to find it too: Just look in the Edit meny. It says: ”Repeat Ctrl+Skift+Y”. I don't know though, why I have shift spelled ”skift” (it's spelled like that in Swedish though, but I use the English UI…). Format → Defaiult formatting will unhyperling a link. Ctrl+m does the same thing. I have not seen the other problems you mention.
