The author of that article is either a liar, a troll, or imagines things. This quote is terribly inaccurate: "Furthermore, the developers claimed that they were highly compatible with Microsoft’s Office 2003 and Office 2007 file formats." I have never seen any claim of "highly compatible with MSO 2007". Even MSO 2003 cannot handle that. There are many valid reasons for using MSO instead of OOo. I have been using MSO all day in a virtual machine as OOo does not meet the needs of my current project. But ditching OOo for MSO because of non-existent promises of 2007-file support? By the same arguments that he moved to OOo in the first place, he is making the wrong choice. He is, however, getting ad impressions. -- Dotan Cohen http://what-is-what.com http://gibberish.co.il --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
