Hmm. Gotta think about Gmane some more, because if we could make this
work it would solve a whole bunch of issues. Following your first link,
I was puzzled about what the selection criteria were for the threaded
display at the top -- it was not at all obvious. Following the second
link, the RSS feed looked sort of intriguing, and I'm not sure what it
would mean to "subscribe with Live Bookmarks" but it sounds hopeful.
OK, I'm a total newbie to OpenOffice.org and mailing lists in general
(not true for me, but let's pretend) with no experience of newsgroups
(that's true for me). I'm not subscribed to the list, but I've asked a
question there, and I want to use Gmane to follow my thread and, if
necessary, respond to follow-up questions. What would you advise me to do?
