Sofar I've received no suggestions on this, but I'm still looking for a
solution.
Specifically OOW keeps looking for a OO 1.1.3 path, where it expects to
find these templates, but there is no such path. It was physically deleted
from disk a long time ago, when I upgraded to 3.0, and moreover I can find
no parameter that actually points to such a path, yet somewhere there must
be one.
Does anybody know please?

Some time ago I upgraded to versions 3.0 and beyond and I tried to change
the directory for the templates.
I have changed the Paths information pointing to the templates, but still
it keeps reporting to me that it cannot find the templates, and give me
error messages saying:

Error opening document:
[path name...] does not exist.
unquote
and it points to some old path, which it's not even pointing to in the
path configuration for templates.
Ergo, there must be some other hidden place where it is secretly still
pointing to an old directory for the templates, but I cannot find out
where. After I click through all of those errors, it ends up pointing to
the actual current template directory.
