I don't know who you paid your money to, but you don't have to pay or
register to download, install or use OpenOffice.org. Just go to
www.openoffice.org and download the version for your computer. Again,
there's absolutely no charge for it. You'll have to contact whoever you
paid for a refund or, failing that, contact your credit card company to
reverse the charges.
Please do not ever pay for OpenOffice.org, unless you're purchasing a CD
from some vendor. There are some who scam people like you, by charging
for something that is available for free.
Also, once you've downloaded OpenOffice.org, you're entitled to pass it
around to whoever you want and use it on as many computers as you wish.
Again, no payment and no registration necessary. However, you can
register if you wish and donations are always appreciated.
