Hi,
Since I had my computer in to be fixed, I can no longer access my Open Office
sites. I believe it was 2007 that I purchased the Open Office disk from you.
I still have this disk, but it doesn't seem to work with my Vista computer. I
may have had XP when I first installed your program. Do I need to buy a new
disk, or is there a free upgrade.........or what?
Appreciate any help........thanks
Patti
Hi Patti
I don't know where you "bought" the program from, as it has _always_
been a free download from www.openoffice.org.
You can get version 3.1.1 at present, which is said to work well on
Vista/Win 7, or you can wait a few days, when version 3.2 should be
available. It is a fairly large download, so you may need to use a
download manager, especially should you be on dial-up, or you can buy
CDs at nominal cost from
<http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/index.html#cdrom>
Good luck
Russell
