I can't quite decide whether you were just making a lame joke, or
whether you really are that clueless - one of the central points in this
whole controversy is the question of what to leave intact in the
original message, and what to snip out. If you were attempting to argue
in favor of top-posting based on the necessity of scrolling down through
an entire original, your argument both falls flat *and* misses the main
point - which is that a proper response would have included only a
directly relevant line or two of the original, not the entire thing.

Either way, you gave me my first good belly laugh of the day :-)

I freely admit to harboring a most unfair bias - I just automatically
assume that anyone who argues for top-posting is both utterly clueless
about the traditions of Net courtesy and how it speaks to causing others
unnecessary work, *and* has e very low level of competence at working
their email editor.....
.... and certainly your post could lead to both interpretations.
