Thunderbird is fine but Google's Gmail is a snap to use.
And it can't do all the things I need Thunderbird for.
I have attached PDF files with no problem.
I can attach files fine in Thunderbird. I just can't click the function in OO.o to do it automatically. I have to save the file first, then open Thunderbird and open a new message, then attach a document. This should be a one step process from OO.o.
I have three computers, one Windows and the other Ubuntu, and an old Laptop for travel, I Firefox on both computers. Since Gmail stores the mail, it looks and acts the same in Windows or Linix, or on my Laptop anywhere I happen to be.
