I'm baffled by the list of fonts displayed in Writer. Most of them
look to be alien to someone who only uses English and I'd like to
remove them from the list. I did a bit of searching through the
/opt/openoffice.org/... tree and located .../font/truetype but the
only things in there were DejaVu... and Liberation... (and something
called opens___.ttf??). Since there are a number of other fonts
in the list that do display useful stuff, like dingbats and Purisa,
where do they come from?

I'd also like to add a font to the list but it's in opentype font format
(.oft) (according to the Linux file command). I found the FAQ on how to
add fonts (using spadmin) but it doesn't recognise that format. Anyone
know a way to convert it to something usable?
