If windows, If windows, which distro? Without this info, we can only guess. I will guess that you are using 1.1.4. If not then consider upgrading as it is more stable than previous releases. In any case, check on the machines affected that Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org> General has appropriate help settings. Also check the View, Appearance and Accessibility settings have not changed. Also check Tools > Options > Text Document > View settings are the same as a working machine. That it for guessing on my part.
