Sorry. I am using the Debian Lenny distribution of Linux with the KDE desktop environment. In Windows, OpenOffice appears to use > the settings set up within Windows. > Control Panel>Display>Appearance>Advanced lets you play with the various > settings. KDE does have an option to apply to non-KDE applications the colours, font size, etc., set up by the user for KDE applications, which I have selected. OOo however appears to be a law unto itself in this regard. If it has an option use these "system" options instead of its own I have yet to find it -- hence the questions in my first post.
