Henri, As far as I know you uninstall a version of Java in the same way as you would uninstall any other software on your system. For example, on Windows XP: - Go to Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs - select the version of Java you want to remove - click Remove Be careful, though, that by removing an older version of Java you don't break some other application that relies on it rather than on the newer one. It's never been clear to me how clever applications are at "finding" a new version of Java and deciding it's OK to use it. As far as OOo is concerned, once you have removed a version of Java, that version won't show up any more at Tools>Options>OpenOffice.org>Java. On the other hand, OOo will display details of any and all versions of Java that it finds.
