I want to know the best way to enter the math equations in open
office writer so that the coding of mathml can be available in xml.
The way which has been written on openoffice website does not work for me.

My problem is that when completing the document, I save in html
format or xml format, instead of showing math equation or coding of
math, it is showing nothing. According to the open office, it should
show math equation and in code of xml it should show math equation
with mathml tags.
I'm guessing here, but try this:
o Save your document in Open Document Format - as .odt.
o Unzip this file. (You appear to be using Windows, in which case
you may wish to rename the .odt file as .zip and double-click it to
let Windows do this for you.)
o Inside the archive, you will find a content.xml file, which
contains the substance of your document. That's not what you need.
o Each formula in your document appears to be represented as a
folder in the archive, named Object 1, Object 2, and so on. In each
of those folders, you will also find a content.xml file, which
appears to contain XML for the formula. Is that what you need?
As I say, I'm only guessing ...
I trust this helps.
