If you are on a dialup connection, you will probably need a download manager to allow the transmission to be broken and resumed. Otherwise, we need more information. Where are you getting the download, from www.openoffice.org or somewhere else? What exactly happens? If you get an error message, what is it and where is it being generated? Is it actually the download that fails, or are you trying to install and getting an error then?
