Thank you for replying. I am on broadband. This is what happened - or not!
  I'm not experienced with computers. I've just had to buy a new one and 
wondered if it was the new W7. I got a window which said 'Unable to download. 
The operation timed out.' The larger window with the progress bar was still 
sending little envelopes from left to right and the text at the top said 97% 
downloaded. That's all I know. I tried again last night and got exactly the 
same result.
